Tom Cruise Too Old For Mission Impossible 4?

Tom Cruise
The Mission Impossible movies are truly one of a kind, and we've grown to like Tom Cruise in them. As crazy as he may be in real life, he's still a great actor. But is Tom now considered over the hill? Movie execs might think so.

Rumor on the street is that Paramount execs think Tom is too old and unmarketable to play Ethan Hunt in MI:4. His very public involvement in Scientology doesn't help matters either. Paramount wants a younger, cheaper guy to play the part. And at this point, anyone's got to be cheaper than Tom Cruise!

A source tells the NY Post that Tom reportedly threw a tantrum at a meeting not too long ago and ran out. Tom's really not having much luck with roles lately. First Angelina Jolie replaces him in Edwin A. Salt, and now this!

UPDATE: Hollyscoop has learned that Tom never had a meeting in regards to MI4, so how could he walk out of a meeting that never took place? Something think about!

Too old? Not really. Great actor? NO. Overrated? HIGHLY. Too insane? Absolutely. Too involved with an insidious criminal cult? Yup.

Does he make great movies? Absolutely. When I spend $50 to see a Tom Cruise movie (tickets, popcorn, drinks..) I know I'm going to get my money's worth. Is he eccentric, a little off, a member of Scientology, whatever? Who cares. Seriously, who cares what he does when he's not making movies.

Why hello $cientology shill, Jason. It's funny how your CULT encourages it's members like YOU to use profanity and unethical behavior to defend it against critics, yet still wants to be considered a valid "religion." Well, it's NOT and it NEVER will be. Even your cult founder, Hubbard, said it wasn't really a religion. Don't you even read your own "scripture?" Or have you simply not paid enough to access that part yet? Your cult DOES have a criminal record and many court rulings have declared it to be an insidious CULT, so I am simply stating that fact. So bigotry? I don't think so. If you want to see bigotry, look at $cientology's views on homosexuals and read up on what Hubbard has to say on Black and Asian people. And those who say they don't care about Tom's affiliation to the cult need to consider that he used his fame and influence to recruit for the cult which destroys families and lives. Heaven only knows how many lives he is personally responsible for destroying.
