Tom Cruise The Superhero?

Superhero movie just parodied Tom Cruise with Jerry O'Connell playing up Tom's infamous Scientology videos, but now Tom might become a superhero himself!

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Tom is slated to be attached to an adaptation of comic book classic Sleeper.

The Warner Brothers feature will be directed by Sam Raimi. Sleeper is about a spy who comes into contact with an alien artifact which makes him unable to feel pain.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but could you see Tom playing a superhero?

isn't there a superhero rule written somewhere that men have to a minimum of 5'-8" to qualify for superhero status? i think tom only qualifies for side-kick status.

People get too much into his private life. Cruise makes great movies! he should go a little outside the box and get racy/artsy to reclaim some artistic credibility.
