Tom Cruise The President?

Tom Cruise has decided to run for President. Ok, not really but he has signed on to play the U.S. President in Phillip Noyce's new movie 28th Amendment.

MovieHole.net reports that Cruise will play President Ben Cahill in the action thriller. It will follow the president as he battles the "leaders of a super secret organization, who control all U.S. affairs."

Not only is Cruise set to play in the movie but rumor has it that Denzel Washington will reportedly play the guy Cruise is out to destroy.

Do you guys think the Mission Impossible star can pull off playing a president?

No. I have no respect for him anymore. He supports a cult that enslaves and KILLS its members. I would NEVER pay money to any film he is in. Supporting Scientology celebrities means continuing to live with this madness. So, Brad Pitt needs to make his comeback. We like him, not this Tom guy who thinks he is God. He can take his arrogance elsewhere. I hope Anonymous pickets all his films, and all those other nutjobs. If they won't wake up, dump the cold, hard water of reality over their heads. When they have no money to enslave, they will come to their senses. We hope. DOWN WITH SCIENTOLOGY. BOYCOTT THEIT MOVIES NOW.

Tom has shown his acting chops time and time again. I agree with Fiona that he was terrific in Lions for Lambs (an important film in my opinion). I'd go see him as President.
