Tilda Swinton Wins Oscar For Best Supporting Actress

Tilda Swinton has a lot to celebrate with her big win for Best Actress In A Supporting Role. The actress won for her performance as Karen Crowder, a ruthless corporate attorney acting on behalf of a company engaged in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit in Michael Clayton.

We have to be honest, we didn’t see this one coming. Everyone thought that Ruby Dee would be taking this award.

Tilda got up on stage and joked about her big win saying, “Happy Birthday Man” referring to her golden statuette. “I have an American agent who is the spitting image of this ….really truly the same shape head and it has to be said the buttox..I am giving this to him..there was no way I would be here in America if it wasn’t for him.”

Tilda also went on to thank her Michael Clayton co-star George Clooney for his “seriousness and dedication” to his art. Tilda also joked about his transition from Batman to Michael Clayton.

Congrats to Tilda who is one of Hollywood’s most underrated actresses until now.
