Hollyscoop was at the 6th Annual BEHIND THE LENS awards ceremony in Beverly Hills last night. Stars such as Rick Fox, Rosie Perez, Damon Wayans, Michael Ealy and many more came out to honor the extraordinary achievements of filmmaker, producer, actor and visionary Spike Lee.
Spike Lee has been credited with launching the careers of many of today’s stars including Halle Barry, Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Wesley Snipes and many more.
One of Spike Lee’s most recent films “Inside Man” was a big hit at the Box Office making $28,954,945 opening weekend. Spike Lee exclusively confirmed to Hollyscoop that there is going to be a sequel and “a script is in the works." The movie is currently untitled but is set to hit theatres in 2010 but we're hoping British hottie Clive Owen signs on to the project.
