Every movie imaginable is getting remade these days! The next movie to get redone is Robocop. MGM has signed on to do it with director Darren Aronofsky, and they're hoping for it to be a huge blockbuster.
Phoenix Pictures' Chairman and CEO Mike Medavoy said: "After making the first RoboCop at Orion more than 20 years ago, I'm thrilled to be helping to return this character to the screen with our partners at MGM and through the eyes of Darren Aronofsky and David Self."
Just to refresh your memory, Robocop is about a guy who is part man, part machine, and "all cop."
