Katie Holmes has gotten herself another acting gig. She will play opposite Giovanni Ribisi, Jason Lee, Rupert Friend and Woody Harrelson in the comedy-fantasy The Other Side. Production for the film will begin some time in January in Los Angeles and UK.
Katie will play an over-achieving science scholar that tries to solve a bizarre mystery involving the residents of a remote island and ultimately discovers something she could have never predicted.
I wonder if Katie even goes to any auditions or she just gets roles because her husband is Tom Cruise? I think she just gets them. That's definitely one of the perks of being married to Tom Cruise.
