Katherine Heigl Signs On For Polygamy Movie

Katherine Heigl has signed on to star in and produce an upcoming film called Escape. The movie is based on the memoir by Carolyn Jessop, about a polygamous sect founded by Warren Jeffs.
Jessop's testimony helped to convict Jeffs of sexual conduct with minors. Katherine will play the part of Jessop, who was finally able to escape the sect when she was 35 years old!

'27 Dresses' Gets Later Release Date

Katherine Heigl’s much anticipated release of ‘27 Dresses’ has been pushed back but don’t get any ideas, it’s not because it’s a bad film but its because they wanna release it on a holiday weekend.
It was originally scheduled for a Jan. 11 release but has been since pushed back to Jan. 18 (the first day of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend)

Katherine Heigl says she had trouble liking "Knocked Up" because it's sexist. I know what you're thinking…wasn't she in that movie?! Heigl says the movie paints the women as humorless and uptight, while the guys are all goofy and lovable.
