Kate Hudson has been slated to join the cast of the movie version of the Broadway musical Nine.
She beat out Sienna Miller and Anne Hathaway for the role of fashion journalist Stephanie. Also starring in the movie are Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Nicole Kidman and Judi Dench.
