No Harry Potter Movie This November

Music & Movies
Sorry fans, but there's been a change in plans, and there will be no Harry Potter movie this November as expected. It has been pushed back all the way to 2009.

Warner Brother blames the writers' strike for the delay, saying, "Like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films-changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of. We agreed the best strategy was to move 'Half-Blood Prince' to July, where it perfectly fills the gap for a major tent pole release for mid-summer."

That's not just a little push back. That's major! Die hard Harry fans must be pissed!

The main outrage is that the movie is ready to launch - it's just a profit driven move that steamroller's over a loyal fan base. Join the Harry Potter Delayed - Boycott Warner Brothers! group on Facebook to register your protest. Kick 'em in the Gringotts!!
