'Fools Gold' Hits the Jackpot at the Box Office

Everyone knows opening weekend at the box office will either make or break a movie. Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson should be toasting somewhere because they're latest flick 'Fools Gold' hit gold this weekend.
'Fools Gold' took in $22 million dollars this weekend, the suits at Warner Brothers were even shocked that the movie did so well. They admitted the takings exceeded their estimates by $4 million.

Isn't it funny how a 16-year old girl is taking over the world? Both Jessica Alba and Eva Longoria had movies opening in theatres this past weekend, but Miley Cyrus beat everyone taking in the #1 spot at the box office. The sad thing for the rest of the movies is that the Hannah Montana movie was only released in limited theatres throughout the country and it still beat them.
