After all the controversy it stirred with all the Anti-God, it hates God mumbo-jumbo, it's time to take The Golden Compass for what it is, a movie. A fun, exciting, world of fairy tale, which was extremely interesting and enjoyable. Golden Compass Disappoints

Nicole Kidman’s new film 'The Golden Compass' hit theatres this past weekend and it took the top spot. Unfortunately, coming in at #1 didn’t satisfy studio bosses who expected the movie to open with #30-$40 million. Instead, Nicole’s new movie brought in $26.1 million.
The Disney film ‘Enchanted” took home the prize for second place bringing in $10.7 million. ‘This Christmas’ landed in third with $5 million.
