When George Clooney made a recent trip to the United Emirates in Dubai, he made it clear that he would not be a candidate in the United States upcoming presidential election.
Oh well, so much for predictions. Clooney's purpose for the trip was acting as the guest of honor at the Dubai International Film Festival. He explained that he has always been around politics; his father was a newsman who ran for Congress, and his mother was a mayor.
He also mentioned his connection with charity involvement and his concern over the losing battle in Darfur. He admitted to living a comfortable life, and wanting to continue to bring relief to people who really need it.
