We won't be seeing America's favorite friends hit the big screen after all. After rumors that the cast was reuniting for a movie, more than one cast mate shot them down. Boo!
"Nothing is happening in this regard," said Matthew Perry's rep in a statement. "The rumor is false."

It's the year of the comeback! The success of Sex and the City: The Movie is opening the door for retired TV shows to make a comeback. The cast of Friends are considering getting back together at the coffee shop--but for the big screen.
Cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer will reprise their roles for a big-screen adaptation 'within the next 18 months', according to the Daily Mail.

Courteney Cox doesn't seem too upset about her show Dirt being cancelled, because as she says, there are a lot of production things in the works. And if we're lucky, one of those deals may be a movie version of Friends! Courteney already has David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc on board.
