Oprah Winfrey and Denzel Washington have teamed up as producers and directors of a new drama called "The Great Debaters." Denzel Washington directed the film and also stars as a real-life coach who leads a small black college debating team to the national championships at Harvard.
On the red carpet, Washington opted to keep his politics to himself, but most of his young cast stated they share Winfrey's hopes for the first African-American president in U.S. history.
Oprah has made it clear in the last few weeks of who she supports as her pick for presidency: Sen. Barack Obama.
