Christian Bale Agrees to Third Batman

Actor Christian Bale agreed to reprise his role as Batman for the third time - but only if director Chris Nolan is on board too.
He tells Britain's GQ magazine, "I would certainly hope (Nolan) would be on board for a third installment of Batman. If he wasn't I'd have to think long and hard about whether I'd want to continue myself."

Christian Bale is amazing in every role he does, but his portrayal of Batman was one that stumped him in the beginning. The Dark Knight will Bale's second time playing Batman, but the first go-around was no walk in the park. He said the hardest thing about getting into character was getting the voice down. Batman is known to have a signature scruffy voice, and that was a huge challenge for Bale.

As Hollyscoop reported in December, Christian Bale is confirmed to be an integral part of the the fourth installation of the Terminator franchise.
The movie will be called Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, and Bale will portray John Connor's character. It's set to hit theaters in May 2009.
